Dakota Cadotte is on the run and alone. Forced out from his pack by the Alpha for being gay, Dakota fends for himself in the Denali wilderness. When he ventures too far away from his safe zone, he's put right in the path of a truck on the highway and right into the arms of Sam Waters. The two hit it off immediately as man and wolf, but Dakota fears Sam won't be so understanding when he sees what he truly is. When Dakota shifts in front of Sam, the sparks fly, but Dakota's past and pack threaten their newfound relationship.

OMG guys! This is the first book in the series where we finally meet the “shifter” portion of “Assassin/Shifters”. Dakota was the wolf we met in Alaska who helped Mark and Josh. Now he’s run into trouble again and met Sam. Well, Sam is way more than just a friend to Dakota and we finally get to learn a bit more about what goes on in Alaska.

This is one of my favorite in this series. Dakota and Sam have an amazing link/relationship and Sam’s family is awesome! I love what happens to Dakota after Sam and Dakota hook up and I love the responses Dakota gets afterward as well. It’s so rewarding!

For me, it’s from this point forward that the series gets really going. We add in the paranormal element and Sandrine is really good at giving us a fascinating and seductive new “world” with lots of “mine, mine, mine!”

There’s danger, as usual, but most of this is lots of new world building and new characters being introduced.

Greg does another amazing job here. I LOVE his take on an “Native American” accent. The Alpha was exceptional and I ADORE how he chose to do Sam’s voice. Dakota is just right, not too light, not too heavy. Greg is fantastic at pacing and emotion and I think it is SOOOO awesome that he’s agreed to do this series. I LOVE it!

This great saga continues with Sam's unconventional introduction to Dakota, and fleshes out their tantalizing romance. With such an involved backstory already in place, Sandrine Gasq-Dion simply had to bring it forward & skillfully wrap it around this new love interest..., which she masterfully does.

Greg Boudreaux continues his deep, sexy talents by bringing each personality alive and giving a unique status to each! The need for a rich, smooth voice to expand these books out is never more apparent than it is here. Also with the consistency of the same, beautiful narrator for each book in the series. So very important, and his soothing tones make each character their own presence. Kudos to the author for her selection of this beautiful voice all the way through.

On to book 4!!

Book 3 in this Great Series Does NOT Disappoint!!

such a great book to listen to while driving to and from work, it is a tad erotic so be careful with what you wear while liatening. Narritors voice inflection and character protrail is great, very well done.

great storyline and keeps you interested

I'll be honest, I initially read this book 3 years ago and really hated it, gave it 2 stars. But when one of my favorite narrators started narrating the series on audio book, I tried it again from the beginning. I've been through the first three books in the series in two days, and the 2 stars is now 4 stars. Greg Boudreaux's (aka Tremblay) performance made all the difference. The story was elevated and brought to life in a way that I am now a fan of the series in audio format. On to Book 4.
