Oddly, the text contains errors in English typical of a native speaker of Portuguese; yet the —rather courageous in a way— narrator mutilates some pronunciations in a manner that will make anyone familiar with Portuguese cringe —or laugh, like when he pronounced the city of Curitiba as 'Cu de Tiba' (Tiba's arseho...). The terrible Portuguese pronunciations lend little credence to the author's valid point that learning the local language will increase one's likelihood of success in Brazil.
The book did have some good tips on social interactions in meetings, etc, for people really unfamiliar with the Brazilian cultures —but pretty basic stuff, really.
Needs Updating & Better Portuguese Pronunciations
