Cooper didn’t mean to summon a demon. He may be a hacker for the Mafia, but he’s not exactly brave or adventurous by nature. He was only trying to do a small, easy job for his terrifying boss and then get back to not leaving the house for days on end. Only now that the demon’s here, promising to be Cooper’s friend for as long as he needs one, Cooper might just be lonely enough to let him.

Chaos knew it was finally his time to get summoned. No more being stuck in the boring Void, no more hanging out with the same three dull demons. It’s time for madness and mayhem and answering to no one but himself. Except Chaos doesn't expect his newest summoner to be quite so…timid. And sweet. And willing to cater to every single one of Chaos’s many wants and whims. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to stick around for an eternity or two.

Now Chaos just needs to convince his new friend that it really isn’t all that scary to be mated to a demon, even one who loves to play with fire.

Calling Chaos is a heated MM paranormal romance. It feature a lonely, socially anxious hacker and the wily, wicked, and slightly feral demon who wants to play with him forever. It also contains “it’s just practice” bedroom lessons, Mafia meetings gone awry, and the joys of stealing your not-boyfriend’s hoodies.

These two were so dang cute and I loved hearing Michael narrate as his audios are pure perfection. I adore Graes writing as she always manages to give her characters the most perfect mates to help them balance each other out.
Chaos and his bunny were exactly this and I’m so glad Cooper has someone who will take him outside, swinging their hands together while maaaaaybe causing some casual… chaos 🤣

Chaotic

Calling Chaos is the third book in the Demon Bound series, with each book featuring a member of the Kozlov family summoning a demon. In this book, Cooper, cousin to Ivan and the others, accidentally summons Bracchus, nicknamed Chaos for his wild and unpredictable nature.
This book was just as unique as the first two in the series. Each book is very different because each demon summoned is sooo different.
My favorite part of this book is how unexpectedly Chaos and Cooper compliment each other. Chaos is so sweet with Cooper, who suffers from anxiety. Chaos reduces and soothes that anxiety, and it completely changes Cooper’s life. I also loved how Cooper really appreciated the excitement and happiness Chaos brought into his life. He never saw Chaos as anything but a positive addition to his life.
Where the audiobook really shines is in the dialogue, particularly from Chaos. I struggled with the nicknames and some of the things Chaos would say, simply because I had a hard time envisioning someone saying those things. That problem is eliminated in the audiobook! And even more so with Michael Ferraiuolo, one of the best narrators available. It was great!
Overall, I think this is a great addition to the series. I enjoyed learning about Chaos and Cooper and finding out how their relationship develops. It was a fun and entertaining read. Mr. Ferraiuolo made it even better with his entertaining take on the characters. I recommend it!

Great read and great performance

Calling Chaos is book 3 in Grae Bryan’s Demon Bound series. This series is a spinoff of the Vampire Mates series. This is Copper and Chaos’ story.

This story was equally sweet, silly, and flurry with a dash of sexy. Cooper and Chaos were a delightfully sweet treat that I thoroughly enjoyed. Chaos is well, chaos lol – he is a little menace of destruction; cunning, mischievous and impatient while also having moments of innocent curiosity. Then we have Cooper who is a shy and awkward ball of anxiety. On the surface you would think these two couldn’t be more mismatched but under the surface they are perfect for each other. They offer each other acceptance, understanding, but also step outside their own comfort zones at times to care for each other.

I loved how patient Cooper was with Chaos, always answering his inquisitive questions and never trying to change him. Chaos doesn’t try to change Cooper either but gives Cooper the safety to come out of his shell a little bit and helps build his confidence in himself. I loved Chaos’ possessiveness, and the nickname puppy got me! There were so many moments of pure hilarity, especially in Cooper’s moments of embarrassment.

I really did love this story – it was short, sweet, and fun. I was hoping for a little more depth like we saw in Inviting Bedlam, but it was enjoyable, nevertheless.

As always, Michael Ferraiuolo did an amazing with the narration! He really brought our little Chaotic gremlin to life and was distinct from Cooper’s introverted and socially anxious personality. I can’t wait to listen to Matteo and Nightmare’s story next!

Chaotically cute 😈

The story develops nicely. Chaos lives up to his name.

The MCs compliment each other with Chaos bringing Cooper out of his shell and Cooper grounding Chaos.

I cracked up over Chaos calling out how ‘polite’ he (himself) is being and pointing out when others are rude.

Narrator does a great job.

Enjoyed this one tremendously

Chaos and Cooper are adorable

The reader isn’t a good match for this one. He sounds much older than the main hero is supposed to, and is stuffy and aloof rather than playful and mischievous when reading as the chaos demon. i’ve liked his work on other books, but I didn’t like it for this one. Love the series, though. Grae Bryan clearly has a love for the genre tropes and is easily among the most talented at delivering the goods.

miscast reader, love everything else
