On October 12, 1967, British European Airlines Flight 284 left Athens, bound for Cyprus - it never arrived. Mysteriously destroyed, the British government did not explain why, only saying it was due to sabotage. Despite pleas from family members of the victims for more information, the British government sealed the records until 2040.

Cat's Paw is a fictional account that peels away the layers of deception and intrigue behind the mystery. Twelve years after the incident, Ron Hatch, a retired newspaper reporter with The New York Daily Star, stumbles upon a cryptic clue that only he has the instinct to follow and the grit to pursue. With the help of his girlfriend Molly, he battles roadblocks set by the FBI, MI-5, and MI-6 operatives that have no desire to see the truth behind the loss of BEA Flight 284.

Relatable characters throughout and a mystery that unwinds through the telling in spite of efforts by shadowy government figures’ efforts to hide the truth. Fun page turner, well-crafted by a fine author. Great story enhanced by the audio format.
