From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Catherine Bybee comes the steamy first novel in her new adrenaline-fueled Richter series.

As an employee of MacBain Securities and Solutions, Claire Kelly can certainly hold her own. Armed with an impressive set of covert skills, she’s more than prepared to tackle any job that comes her way...except one involving Cooper Lockman.

Cooper and Claire used to work together before his feelings for her sent him packing to Europe for six long years. But now he’s back and determined to ignore the still-smoldering heat that lingers between them.

Their current mission: go undercover together at a California high school to root out the mastermind behind a prostitution ring targeting young girls. The closer they get to the truth and the closer they get to each other, however, the deadlier their task becomes. As Claire and Cooper risk their lives to bring down their target, will their hearts be the final casualties?

Ok, first off, the narration was NOT great. Lori Prince does HORRIBLE male voices and sounds vaguely robotic at times. Secondly, the story was not what I expect from Catherine Bybee. I've read most of her other books, and I still felt like I'd missed something from her previous works that would enable me to catch some nuance I was missing in this one. I've read all the books that the ancillary characters are from, so it was purposely written this way. I don't recommend, and I won't be reading the rest of the series.

Security Company members work with police to capture a human trafficking ring. The characterization is excellent and the story line very exciting. The romance added the extra stars.

This book kept my attention from the beginning to the very end. I liked all of the characters, and I liked the budding romance. This was a very different type of book that I usually read by this author. I really enjoyed the mystery and the fast pace of this book. Hopefully, it will reach enough people and people can keep educating, our parents, teachers and youth on the risks of human trafficking.

Great story based on, unfortunately real life events, although fictionalized

Ever since I stumbled across the Weekday Brides series, I have been loving the interconnected world Catherine Bybee has created. And I'm so happy to see it expand with another series, this time, focusing on the girls from Richter school.
I loved Claire in Say It Again, and she is the perfect start to this series.
I really enjoyed the double narration. You always knew who was talking, and they didn't distract from the story in any way. Sometimes the best compliment you can offer a narrator is that you barely noticed them over the excellent story they were telling. Bravo all around.
Now, on to the next book.

I'm so happy to see more books in world.
