This series is so amazing! What am I going to with myself when I finish the series? And Angus is so totally AWESOME!!!!!!

This is excellent. We start off with "a day in the life of a detective" which is very funny. The author really trots out her writing talent.
Then we get to the business of hunting for a murderer. All is as expected to police procedural work. And, a mystery guest from
Jack's past is assigned to assist the team and, oh- the humor continues as she outrageously,
rocks the statis quo.
Just when it seems we're.done.... some new twist leaps out and we"re off.
A very, very good addition to JD Kirk's
series with these folks.

The crime is gruesome and troublesome, but of course they solve it. But the humor was delightful, I laughed out loud so much you would have thought I was listening to a comedy! Well written and full of twists. And the characters are so convincingly real! And I really enjoy Angus King's narration, I love the accent!

This book is so good! It was a great compliment to the series and left me wanting more.

One of the best in the series!

Chock full of laughs and awesome characters, this installment kept me engaged throughout. The underlying story kept me guessing and Jack and the gang never fail to entertain. Bring on #14!
