Beauregard Stone lives a life of solitude in the snow-blanketed town of Windeville, Maine. The burly lumberjack is a man of few words and even fewer smiles. But when Royal Peterson, a burnt-out corporate finance executive from Manhattan, stumbles into Windeville, everything changes.

Stone isn't the kind of man who fawns over the strangers who wander into town, especially not ones who look like Royal. Stone's too rough around the edges, convinced he's too old, too grizzled, too broken for someone as young and gorgeous as Royal. But when he sees the same sadness in Royal's warm brown eyes that's reflected in his own, Stone's defenses begin to crumble.

As their paths continue to cross in unexpected ways, Stone and Royal start to realize healing and loving aren't always as complicated as they seem. But just as their bond begins to grow, Royal faces a difficult choice: does he stay in Windeville, or does he return to his fast-paced life, leaving Stone to face the cold, lonely winter nights once again?

Respect between Stone & Royal

Stone and Royal are drool worthy. Excellent voices for them add to their sex appeal. Intriguing story. Great characters. Delightful small town setting. Enjoy Stone and Royal as they savor every steamy moment!!!

Loved it!

A.E avia is one of my favorites authors, and this book was just as good as all the others I've gotten. It's more of a slow burn compared to others I've done, but definitely worth it. The connection Royal and Stone have from the moment they meet was everything. And the way they each saw how the other was lonely and struggling. Definitely recommend this book.

This was a new narrator for me, but really enjoyed the narration.

Awesome

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this audible but what a great surprise! I cried, laughed and could just imagine i was right there. The narration was on point and had me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait for the next read.
