One set of enemies has been dealt with, and Tad has made his way to a new town with a new shop. He's made some great friends and found a happiness he didn't know existed.

If only life were that simple. His heritage is pushing into his life and choices will have to be made. That and those who want a piece of him have become even more powerful.

Will he ever find the quiet life he wanted so much? Although, perhaps the bigger question is whether that's still the life he wants?

I love the story absolutely and the voice actor? Gorgeous voice soft and sweet but can get commanding and fully bring out the potential for this main characters growth as a prince. Only thing that annoys me is all the stat chapters and the crafting chapters can get a bit long and boring i usually end up skipping some of those and then im done with the book and feel upset that there was more of the actual story. I WAS WAITING FOR HIS DAD TO SEND HIM GOLEMS! WHERE R THE MUDMEN!!

Loved the story

I really enjoyed this overall; the character development is very enjoyable along with the story progression. It just gets better with each book. I definitely can't wait for the next one.

I enjoyed this immensely

I see the negative reviews saying it's boring or complaining about the long stat chapters but I disagree. First, If the stat chapters aren't your thing just skip them and voila you're onto the rest of the story. As for "boring" I don't get that vibe if anything, I think it might be more frantic. Maybe that's why it feels boring? Tad is constantly jumping from one frenzied engagement to the next by the people that are out to get him with no opportunity to learn or develop his character which causes a little bit of a disconnect because he is a completely different person in this book then he was in book one due to his manifestation of his heritage, but that doesn't really explain how he could have such a drastic swing in personality or why that heritage wouldn't have affected him in the same way prior to the revelation of his heritage. I enjoy the dive into the crafting enchantments and the magic and really wish it went even deeper. I hope in the next book we get to see our MC take a breath and become more familiar with his massive stat gains and magical abilities because right now it simultaneously feels like he's a clueless child flying a fighter jet and a combat veteran that has achieved mastery in everything and it's weird. Overall five stars, really enjoy and THANK GOODNESS THERE'S NO OVERLY COMPLICATED RIDICULOUS LOVE INTEREST... so far... but I know I will probably be disappointed.

I enjoy it

Intriguing! I can't wait to see where this story is going. Four different directions pulling him into place.

Possibilities promising.

I do like the series, but this book feels wasted, way too many stat chapters & excessive grinding, all for a massive stat boost during the limited story, the "courts" is barely an after thought. Great potential, greatly wasted.. im sure the next book will be better

wasted chapters & potential
