I just can’t listen

I will try to read this book because the narration is horrible. If she’s not putting me to sleep with her first person and narration, the annoying aunt Dodi’s voice is like fingernails to chalkboard. I’m sorry, I just can’t continue.

While the story was cute, not too deep, not too sappy; the narration was awful!!! Squeaky scratching voices, awful stereo typical voices, just awful. I almost gave up several times.

Fun piece of life with hilarity threaded through.

What fun this book was, while hitting us with moments of cringing. Very engaging and enjoyable.

I just enjoyed the entire story because it had lots of LOL moments

What didn’t you like about Lori Reyes’s performance?

The voice used to portray the Aunt was so screechy it gave me headaches. Had to listen to the text-to-speech voice instead.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, definitely. I was looking for something cheerful to listen to and this fit the bill.

Recommended if you are looking for a fast, funny story with quirky characters and don't expect anything unexpected or deep.
