I also Anna Fields narrator miss her so much. Susan's story is such a wonderful romantic comedy. She is my favorite author. During my marriage y road trips to help family and deal with me health issues she lifts me up.

Amazing Book

I absolutely loved this book. The story is great, the performance is great, the characters are great. I just could not take off my headphones.

A Gem

This was a delightfully surprising gem of a story! Just a bit uncomfortable with the way the author walks the line of physical romance with a rape victim. It’s just so hard to imagine a triggered victim falling for someone who assaulted her moments before. Besides that scene, everything else felt balanced fantasy and reality.

Character arcs!

When a book keeps up until nearly 4 in the morning, you know it’s good!
I loved how much these characters grew. And that went for the side characters as well.
It’s hard to say what exactly stood out the most, but the writer has a way of truly bringing you in to the story. I went from really wanting to (but not) liking the MMC, to being in love with him. And how strong Pheone was from beginning to end was inspired!
