Talk about meet-cute!! Divorced, single mom, Carli, has a new neighbor...almost divorced, single dad, Ben. Their first meeting is epic!! Gus the gigantic dog steals Ben’s steak and demolishes his grill! Welcome to the Glenville neighborhood! This is a fun story with just a teensy bit of angst. Amy McFadden is the right fit for this story and does an excellent job with the characters. Recommend this read/listen.

Funny and sweet

What a fun listen - story was so sweet and narration was amazing! Loved all of the characters (except the ones you were supposed to dislike!) The New Normal lifted my spirits and I didn’t want the story to end!!

The plot of very thin but good writing

I kept waiting for something to happen but it is written as 'a year in the life' of two divorcees.

So funny and witty. I listen to all my books and the narrator is excellent. Can't wait for her next book.

I think the narrator did a good job! She kept me interested in the book, I was invested in seeing what happened to the characters. Yes I recommend this book.
