THE STORY

For the Spiral Worm!

This book was SO much better than I expected! The gene stealer cult was super interesting and the story had lots of twists and turns. And the voice actor was incredible!! Her voice has so much range from soft and seductive to bristling fury and rage!! I’ve listened to alot of Warhammer books but this was definitely one of my favorites. Hope

Superb Book, Okay Narration

The book is phenomenal. I've read it multiple times. Great story, great plot. The narrator isn't bad, per se, but she just didn't feel right for this book.

I Liked It Better Than Ascension Day...

...which was more about the Adeptus Mechanicus' *agent* than the actual Ascension Day.

I sometimes find female narrators doing mens voices [& vice-versa, male narrators doing women's voices] distracting. No probs at all here, she did an awesomeness job.

Very interesting & well narrated audiobook overall.

Multi layered

lot of perspective changes, some good twists and turns in the story. My engagement wavered in some spots but overall a good tale.

I expected more from Peter

Decent book on genestealers but I honestly expected more grim dark or that horror mood atmosphere that the author tends to emphasize. So it ended up being a generic book in my opinion due to my higher expectations from the author
