Another solid addition to the aeronautica sub genre. If you’ve finished gaunts ghosts and the double eagle spin offs then you’ve got half the story style down already. HOWEVER, get-in-and-get-out stories are always fun as things escalate.

Suprise after surprise

Very well written novel. The characters were interesting and had great depth. The fight scenes were amazing and put you on the edge of your seat. The voice work was one of the best, with each character having different voices, tones, and accents. All with the horrors of war. Highly recommend

Pretty great Guard story

I do wish it had pushed a little harder on the Guard Politics angle, found the antagonistic Commissar very interesting and wish it had been played with a little more, but overall a very good story and listen

Fun Adventure

A really fun and exciting story with a some grim dark surprises and ending. I really enjoyed the look into the imperial aeronautica.
