A Unique and Compelling Tale

Pepper is not your ordinary canned pineapple loving troll she is resilient, quirky, and defiant. This is my first book by this author, but I can tell Pepper had a traumatic childhood by her actions and thoughts. The story and characters are well written and thought out. The storyline is so compelling that I could not stop listening. I had to know what was going to happen next to our little Pepper and her cohorts. This is definitely not my last book from this author. I need to know more about her clan and realm. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own volition.

I ❤️ Paranormal Romance

One of my favorite things about the Creatures of the Otherworld Series is supernatural romance. When it comes to this, nothing can top the first two books, Cursed Wolf and Cursed Demon. Cursed Vampire and Cursed Witch were kind of a let down. The 5th book (Cursed Fae) returns the series to the original romance magic that made it so engaging.

Corbin (Tiger shifter) and Pepper (troll/ reaper) were a cute duo with a save each other dynamic. I love how Brogan Thomas writes female characters that are incredibly strong in more ways than one but that are not beyond falling into the arms of the “hot guy”. She also ensures that said hot guy must learn that he cannot always be the hero— sometimes, this is his lady’s job.

The vast majority of this series has been total comfort food to me. I hate taking a break from the story, and hate even more when the story ends !

Urban Fantasy

Cursed Fae is a incredible paranormal fantasy. Brogan Thomas created a world of adventure and urban fantasy that is a great story. Poppy Royana is the right choice for the story and did an excellent job. The story is unique, interesting, humorous, engaging and entertaining.
The main character Pepper is a Troll who seems like every time she turns around she is in trouble. First naughty elves put a rune on her then she has to deal with a grumpy shifter and she is the only person to be able to save a dryad. Will everything work out for Pepper.
You should read. Did get the book for free for honest review.

Great addition to a stand alone series

Poppy is a really interesting character. I was very surprised to find out why she was so different than other trolls! I love that Poppy gave herself pep talks when things got hard instead of listening to her negative inner voice. It was great to see past characters Forrest, Tru, and Story as well as familiar settings like Tully's cafe and Tinctures N Tonics.
I was given a copy of the audiobook for an impartial review. I had already bought, loved and reviewed the ebook!

Another great addition to this series. I love Pepper and how strong she is through it all. Narrator did a wonderful job.
