Mid-life FMC, shifters, vampires, fated mates, slow-burn romance

I loved this book so much! Lark is my new favorite character! I love how she responds to her struggles.
"It didn't break me. It transformed me."
I also love her unique magic. She's over forty and essentially experiences a reset.
The sentient wizard house is also my favorite character. I really enjoyed the imaginative setting and world-building. I look forward to more in this series.

Loved it being from the perspective of someone older and more mature

Lot of unanswered questions and story uncertain for THIS story but says it's a standalone???

Bitten Shifter is a pretty good book. The characters are engaging and the story is well-written.

Excelent Romantacy

This was a really awesome listen! Poppy Royana is great to listen to. She has great pacing, does a stellar job with her character performances and the story kept me going. It's the tale as old as time, but Brogan Thomas brings into the present tense and writes a character that has real thoughts and feelings. The FMC is older, divorced, and learning how to be that- then she is taken to the other side of the wall and everything is chaos again! This was a great all-in-one story and worth your time.

Looking forward to the rest of the series

I enjoyed the story but the narrator made it even better. She presented the emotions and reactions wonderfully. I want to read more books from this series and others books performed by the narrator.
