I’ve been waiting!

Leo & Finn are hands down my most beloved couple of the series. They’re incredibly sweet and seeing their love unfold is so pure. The narrators did a great job; you feel like they are actually the characters, experiencing the scenes with the way they performed it. Well done! 💚

Oh! these boys

I love this series and all of the boys that show up in each book. The duet narration always makes for a better listen. James Joseph and Will Watt are a wonderful team and really bring these characters to life. The dancer and the Footballer a beautiful couple.

Friends to lovers

James Joseph and Will Watt are the perfect pairing to bring any British characters to life in audio! I always enjoy their performances. Finn + Leo are oblivious to their friendship becoming more; they are so sweet together. Finn is great at getting Leo to come out of his shell through harmless dares. His family accepting Leo as their own is also special as he deserves so much love!

I’m pretty sure this is my new fav!

I always say, nothing can top the last one.. but I was wrong. Each and every time. I love this whole series and the couples. They contrast so well with each other.

Leo and Finn are the most adorable. I love the way the slowly fell in love. The slow transition from friends to I love to I’m IN love with you! It’s a tender, all consuming love!

I seriously just want to give Leo the biggest hug and keep him safe.

I Dare You…

First of all, this is the second best book of the series…the first being Sidelined, Ander and Elliot’s story. Just my opinion.

Leo is a beautiful dancer who is painfully shy and socially awkward. He’s also a gamer warrior who uses his alter ego to talk to people via his gaming platform.

Leo’s top gaming partner is a character named Hammerhead. He opens up and shares his fears and inadequacies with his gaming partner. It all comes crashing down when he realises that his online friend is Finn, a footballer who attends the same university. Worse is the fact that Leo knows Finn saw his dance performance. Leo lied and gave a fake name to Finn. After Leo confesses to Finn he expects their friendship to be over. He doesn’t expect Finn to spend hours locating him and finding him.

Afterwards, they become the best of friends, to the point that they are often seen joined at the hip and are the brunt of teasing comments about being boyfriends, though they claim they are just friends.

Leo’s introduction to Finn’s family is heartwarming. His mom died when he was little and he has no memory of being hugged or loved by a Mum. It will make your eyes tear 💦 up!

Both Finn and Leo are great MCs. It’s good to see the characters from the previous books as supporting characters in this book. JJ especially.

The audiobook is phenomenal! Will Watt and James Joseph are awesome! I highly recommend it!
