Summoners. Metal Magic. Dragon Gods.

The first metal dragon in an age has come. One hero must harness its power to defeat the darkness.

Garrick Vilfort is a recruit for a mercenary company. During his final examination, he bonds with a dragon thought extinct: an iron dragon. With this startling discovery comes a terrible promise. The age of the metal dragons has returned, along with the coming doom of the entire world.

To hold the forces of darkness at bay, Garrick and his fellow summoners must unlock the true powers of their dragons, beyond anything that has been seen since the dawn of magic.

This was an amazing book I loved the different type of dragons and the way that it decided your magic the system was well thought out

I very much enjoyed listening to this book, and I'm excited about the next installment! Hopefully, it will be arriving soon. ;)

Great start to this new fantasy adventure series!

Overall, the book was pretty fun. The concept of the dragons and their summoners was interesting. The storyline was okay but I had trouble getting into the story and staying in it…
The plot weaving is pretty simple. However, it doesn’t seem like that is a bad thing.
The story does seem a bit rushed. This book is definitely “episodic.” It could easily be a standalone. The central struggle is handled and you get your “feel good ending.”
So I am giving it four stars across the board.

Had several unique ideas for types of dragons.

I didn’t get very far before I stopped its a bit juvenile for me. Probably 18 and below for target audience. I only made it to where they acquired the dragons.

I don’t think im the target age group this book was written for
