An action-packed LitRPG Adventure perfect for fans of Mother of Learning, Skill-Grinder, and The Perfect Run!

Break the Baseline. Break the Limits.

Once upon a time, a mageblade-in-training lost his best friend. His soul refused to let her go, and his unformed soulspell developed the ability to revert the timeline to the week before her death. It wasn't enough. No matter what he did, said, or tried, her death was set in stone. He was too poor, too weak, too powerless.

Some things even perfection cannot accomplish. So he moved forward, over and over again. Saved the world a few times. Refined himself into a power few could match.

Yet the moment he reverted, he'd be trapped in the same powerless, ineffective body he'd started out with. Never enough. Nothing ever changed.

Until now.

Experience this fast-paced, time-loop LitRPG Adventure featuring a detailed system, loads of skills, time loop regression, an overpowered Magic Sword as the catalyst for change, slow-build power progression, and so much more!

I did not like the introduction, things start happening in the middle of the story and it takes a while to figure things out. It really felt like this was the second or third book where the protagonist had already been introduced and you had a good grasp on him.

The reader is not given a good introduction to the power systems in this novel. You're given various hints like oh, they collected material to power up the weapon, or there's such a thing as alchemy or creating weapons, but it's all surface level.

I came close many times to stopping the book. I really wanted to like it as I enjoyed the mother of learning, and books like the perfect run. But even to the end, I did not enjoy it. There were several points where a lot of time was spent on something that seemed like a waste of time. I would have been much happier if the book were half the length.

I think I would have enjoyed a story about what the protagonist did before this book a lot more, than what it did this one.

I did not like it, and it felt like the second or third book in a series

When you have the power of time, you could do anything, but our MC picked to save a life was the most important thing, and I agree with him. I also loved his blade that everyone wants but it is part of him and it is hungry.

Great action/magic.

well narrated.

give a listen

Would you time loop a thousand times to save your love?

No intro, no world building, no explanation for most of the stuff that's going on. On top of all that the MC acts less like a hardened veteran whose finally going to get everything right and more like an edgy teenager on his first power trip, the time travel adds little to nothing to the story beyond the author not having to write a convincing explanation on how he progressed, literally just showcasing one or two (if at all) instances of him failing and then moving on with the assumption he succeeded at some point.

The VA is decent at least

normally I don't like time traveling books, but this one right off the bat drugged me into the store. once I started I couldn't stop it was so much fun and had me so involved into the story. it didn't go the way I thought it would either. can't wait for the next book as I'm definitely going to pick it up
