Dead Crow

Under dirty black skies, the town of Dead Crow is deluged by days of rain, flooding the streets and cutting it off from the outside world. Chief Andy Curran already has his hands full, getting residents to safety and battling a greedy mayor. But now people are going missing in the endless rain. 

Curran soon discovers that there are things living in the overspilling river that threatens to drown Dead Crow. Their eerie clicking sounds drift across the frightened town as they emerge from its toxic waters. The rain isn't stopping. The clicking is getting louder. And the screams are only just beginning.

The Excitement!!

This story was ingenious! So different, an adrenaline rush! The reader really makes the story come alive. You'll just love it!

Great story line

I loved the book. The characters are relatable and nothing is too over the top. I like the flow and pacing. Nothing seemed too rushed. My only complaint is the narration. The reader has a nice voice. He did a great job with the dialog and character voices but the main narration was bizarre. The voice seemed forced which made the story sound a bit cheesy at times. Also the cadence was odd and seemed so unnatural that it actually made it hard to follow the story at times. Overall I loved it and I do recommend.

Good horror story

I enjoyed this audio book and found this to be a good horror story. It kept my interest. Good story line and believable characters.

Exactly what I needed

I have been looking for a good monster story without a deep budding romance, or a character looking to change their life. Just monsters that want to cause mayhem and eat who may get in their way.

LOVED IT!!!

Man, I Truly enjoyed this book!! Everything about it had my attention from the beginning, even the narrator. There were some funny moments, and some scary/disgusting ones! A great unexpected find in the Audible Plus catalog. The monster/mutants had me on the edge of my seat. Wouldn't want to run into one of them in a dark alley!!
