Dark and Gritty

this is a great addition to the god slayer saga. of the three books released so far, this was my least favorite. it's dark, gritty, and full of peril. it's necessary to understand the history, but there were times during the story that the despair and hopelessness was almost overwhelming. well done. takes a great author to elicit such emotion.

the narrator was fantastic as well.
