Action, Adventure, Destiny & Love

H.L. Day's tale of demons infiltrating human society and the half human half demon fighting those demons alongside a Catholic priest is captivating. Kept me interested throughout the story - no boring parts! There were moments when it seemed the fight would be lost but Day evolved the characters in abilities and maturity, thus escalating the violent action and potential for a successful or disastrous outcome in the battle to keep demons from ruling over humanity. Enjoyed the action and the developing romantic feelings between the MC's. Definitely a lovely taste of steamy moments were shared with the reader/listener. You can read the description and summary of the story in the publisher's blurb so I won't give anything away. The book is definitely worth a credit. Will likely listen to it again in the future.

Even Better on Audio

It took me a little bit to get into this one. I wasn't quite sure how I was feeling about it. I'm glad I kept going though. It is a great read.I enjoyed this story much more when I listened to the audiobook. I was pulled into the story easier with the narration by Freddie Wills.

Saving the Demon!

This story managed to be intense, mysterious, and romantic! It is quite realistic in the paranormal and mysterious aspects. I hesitate to write too much. Jude has to come to terms with who he really is, and Dante is half Demon. That being said these two are hot and steamy but have a big side of sweet in here as they learn to trust in each other. Rory our side character deserves a mention, he is well different and difficult! Freddie Wills narrated with an accent that really brought out the sensual romance and hit all the humor just right. A very unique and easy paranormal listen!

Freddie Wills does a great job of bringing this story to life. I was drawn in right from the start and my interest was piqued!
The pace of this story is wonderful. The characters interesting and easy to get attached to.

Dante and Jude have both had very difficult lives and when circumstances bring them together things don’t look like changing for the better anytime soon. What does change is the connection and chemistry between these two. Both are new to relationships so of course mistakes are made along the way. I loved seeing them figure themselves out.
The action will keep you turning page after page.

I loved this book so much.

The performance was amazing, this narrator did a fantastic job. I hope to hear more of his work in the future.

The story line had a lot of recognizable tropes but they were done in a new way that surprised me. I remember my jaw literally dropping several times, which doesn't happen often. I'm the kind of person who can often figure out the "whodonit" early on, but his one kept me guessing all the way through.

I haven't heard if there will ever be more books in this world, but I hope that some day we see more of these characters. More adventures fighting demons, and ***SPOILER*** I hope to see Jude's brother truly understand and believe after a personal experience with the supernatural.
