Spicy but sweet!

Loved this book so much! It hit all the notes: spicy but so cute, queer, & subverting stereotypes with demons who might not really be as bad as they are portrayed. Also it was so funny! Bez’s dialogue and thoughts constantly had me laughing out loud. The narrator was really good btw; it was a dual POV book, alternating between chapters, but just one narrator read the book. He did a very good job, had distinct voices between the characters, and he really brought Bez’s sarcastic, cocky, mischievous attitude to life. I’ve listened to other books narrated by him and sometimes I forgot it was the same person, he truly is a voice actor!

Cute, funny, and action!

This story started out a little bit slow for me, but after that it is pretty awesome! I'm a big fan of Wally and how he overcomes his weaknesses.

Cute, rich world building, funny characters

I love the world building, the characters are fun and cute, and I especially like that they're so different from one another. The narrator did an amazing job, I absolutely love his voice for both Walter and Bez. You can tell the author did a lot of research and had a fine understanding of how things worked in their world. I love the rich histories and character depth. Looking forward to the next book 💕

Perfect Narration and Pleasing Characters

Wally and Bez are a great duo. I love a story where there is no pointless miscommunication for the sake of drama. I appreciate that the characters are reactionary in believable ways. The plot is engaging and easy to get excited for. The romance is well paced and spicy in the right ways. Excited to see how the next part measures up! Narration is top notch.

Funny and spicy!

This book made me laugh out loud! The interactions between Bez and Walter are hilarious, cute, and also spicy 😉 This is a book I will reread for sure!
