Are. You. Kidding. Me!!! I thought we were getting the end of a series with this book... NOPE! It's the end of an arc of this story 😳 well, now I have to go find the next one because THAT FRIKKIN ENDING!!!! 😳😱😳😱😳😱 I absolutely loved this story! But I still have so many questions! See you after the next book, I guess 🤣

I’ll admit I cried several times. The love, passion, and devotion that both Seth and Laura have for one another is endearing. The selfless sacrifices that each of them do for the other’s happiness is admirable and makes your heart swell. Very well written and leaves you wanting more. Once I started reading I was immediately drawn in and finished in 1 day.

Repetitive, repetitive, repetitive

Ms. Winters can create a good story. In fact, great stories The problem I have had with recent books is the repetitive banter, musings, out loud thoughts that her characters do or say that does nothing to advance the story in a positive way.
I find myself skipping over paragraph after paragraph. I actually put the audio on high speed, imagine Donald Duck speaking at a very fast pace, so I could get to an actual section of the story.
When an author has to resort to repeat prose just to fill page space - it’s time to move on to a better author.
As for Seth’s story - a nice wrap up for the Cross brothers and their trusted friend. The only thing left to do is let Marcus take life with his saga. But, please, please, don’t turn it into a 4 book serial. Seth’s story could have been told in two books; just saying.

Willow Winters surprised me with the ending to Seth and Laura’s story. Although I expected the dark components to their relationship, at times it was more morbid than expected even if every action was done out of love. The unexpected twists in their relationship prove that love conquers all! Joe Arden, Samantha Cook and Teddy Hamilton are excellent narrators as usual and really increased my enjoyment of this aeries!

Absolutely the best ending!

So when I started listening to this I knew I was in for one hell of a ride. Definitely not as intense as the first 3 in the series but it was expected as this was supposed to wrap up Laura and Seth’s story in a nice little bow. And the bow, was AH-MAZING! I was bawling my eyes out and I know it was mainly due to the perfect narrators bringing the story and emotions to life. A lot of lingering questions are answered but lo and behold Willow throws you off at the very end! I can’t wait to explore this twisted world even further!
