Meh!!!

Inked was okay. I didn't feel any real connection with the characters. In fact, I found Kady a bit annoying. Maddie and Kady behaved like 8th graders together. Zane was a little more tolerable, but not by much. So while reading Inked wasn't the best way to spend an afternoon, it wasn't the worst either. Meh.

Hot!

I really enjoyed this book. The narration was good. I love JF Harding. He really brings the characters to life. Holly was great too.
I didn’t know what to expect from this book. I came across it searching for a book to listen to on the romance package. The cover is what caught my eye and then the authors’ names. While I’ve seen both their names pop up in my news feed, I’ve never read any of their works. I’m so happy the Romance Package on Audible came about because I get to discover new-to-me authors. This collaboration worked and worked well. The story flowed smoothly from POV to POV. The storyline was fresh to me. The characters were easy to get behind. I’m looking forward to reading more of their collaborations as well as their individual books.

This book is written by Lauren Landish and Willow Winters, whom I read frequently, so needless to say I enjoy their writing style. There are unexpected twists and turns in this Duet Narration. Both JF Harding and Holly Chandler did a fantastic performance. I had read the book previously and found I enjoyed the audiobook more. The narrators bring a sense of urgency through their voices and emotions that are not conveyed as well on a page. I would definitely listen to this book again when I'm in the mood for some steam and more. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator. I do not like to give away spoilers in my reviews, but I will let you know that this is a standalone book and it does not end in a cliffhanger. I found the ending quite fitting.

Not for me

I’m willingly admitting that it could be just me! I’ve read other books by Winters that I loved. I really really wanted to love this story. Personally, I couldn’t force myself to finish it. I love tattoos and all things related but the female lead annoyed me to no end. She’s whiny and indecisive. The guy is hot but deserves better.

Awesome Audiobook

This was an awesome audiobook. Addicting from the beginning. The narriators really played their parts very well.
