the use of analogies killed the story

example how many different ways can you explain a Feeling or a scenery I found myself skipping forward otherwise I will pull my hair out it's too bad though the story could have been really good if it wasn't for that I understand you have to fill in pages but I believe the book would have been half as long if you didn't use so manypleonasm
