Ash was an exile when he first arrived in De’Vas…

Since then, he has endured hardships and trials, growing the strength of both himself and his district to survive. He found friends and lovers in his new life, all while building a home.

Then the Coalition took him away from all that, casting him into a strange new world, one he had only heard about in stories told by those in De’Vas. Ash needs to find a way back home, back to his friends and loved ones, no matter what it takes. Still, to do so, he needs to navigate an unknown world full of dangers and figure out what the Coalition’s plans are for him and District 114.

…Now he would give everything to return there.

Overall, the book has a solid storyline and plot. I like the growth you see in the MC’s abilities an relationships. This installment in the series was lacking some in the spice department. Also the author’s method of titling the chapters spice scene when the come up is odd and takes away from the flow.

Solid story line

Yeah it’s good

This book has the buildup from the previous book and several other plot lines teased throughout the rest of the novels and comes to a wonderful conclusion (i wouldn't say the series is over just that a major arc is completed now)

I have been thoroughly impressed by the nature of this work, it balances everything so well that despite it not having as much smut as id like (and a certain otter kin being useless in my eyes), it is easily my favorite series of this year. I can't wait to read more by this author!

Also the VA does fantastic work as always, love her in this franchise!

What a book, totally worth it

Great book 4. alThe multiple view points really help with the world building. Still waiting for a certain Rabbit to join and I'm not talking about Silver.

We finally getting somewhere

I liked that the book raises the stakes and solidifies Ash's growth as a leader and the power of his magic.

I'm curious to see where the larger plots goes from here given the epilogue.

Solid continuation
