Midget confirmed

I’m pretty sure Deacon Frost is a midget. This is the second series I’ve listened to from him that has an oddly short MC lol. Jokes aside I think this story has some good bones. I started off really not liking the restrictions and the MCs class but the story still held my attention. The ties to Otherworld Academy were really cool too and I’m interested to see where they go.

all around greatness

This is a great start to a series. It definitely checked all the boxes for me. Too bad I can't add a few more stars.

Awesome follow up to otherworld academy with some surprises in store, can't wait to see what Deacon has coming next

Great start

Love the Academy tie-in, and otherwise this is a great start to a new series. The only major issue I have is the male narrator. I really found his "normal" voice to be annoying to listen to, with some really odd pacing and elocution. I came pretty close to returning the book at a few points because of him.

I loved this title so much and the narration is so awesome what a great story!
