Awesome adventure

I love this series. It's a well laied out story with compelling characters. Love how the characters are well described and you see who they are. See their abilities and faults as well their goals. It is well written. Todd Haberkorn does his usual amazing job bringing the whole story to life. He gives the characters depth. I love how every character has a different voice. Just an amazing job. I have listened to all three books and will see if volume 4 is available. Can't wait to hear more and see how it ends.

Training montage

Mostly him stuck in a dungeon (“locus”) getting stronger, finding some cool beast core, and finally healing his soul. It doesn’t really change much until the end when things get really good. Next book will be a banger for sure, but I think you’ll be fine if you skip this one.
