When radio presenter Casey Fallon answers the call, she assumes it’s a prank. But then a woman’s body is discovered, and she finds herself up against a cruel and calculating killer who wants her to find his victims before they take their last breath.

Fifteen years ago, Casey was a key witness in the trial of serial killer Steve Noakes, and her evidence helped put him behind bars for the murders of five women. Someone remembers what happened that summer - someone who is desperate for revenge, someone who won’t stop until Casey has been punished....

Wow I was blown away by the major twist! Never would have known. Amazing listen. How I wish Keri Beevis had as many books as Mary Higgins Clark because I would have so much more to listen to. This was brilliant!

Shocker!!!!

Super interesting characters. Interesting plot development. I wasn’t really shocked by the twists. Moved quickly and easy read.

Best prologue I’ve ever read. This book grabbed me immediately, and for the most part, it never let go.

There were some underwhelming moments. The ending, in particular, needed more development — instead of dumping everything into the final thirty minutes, I wish the author had taken the time to let it breathe and fully unfold. Some repetition (especially the constant whining about needing “alone time”) wore thin, and it was frustrating watching a character miss very real danger signs that felt obvious to the reader.

That said… the dark storyline and underlying tension completely outshined those flaws.

Despite its imperfections, I genuinely enjoyed this read — enough that I’m already reaching for a third book by this author. When it’s good, it’s very good.

I really liked the thriller aspect, I was immediately sucked into the world and binge listened to it. I'm still thinking about it!
The narration was sooo good! The readers really brought the characters to life. I was hooked from the beginning.
