A little disappointed

I had such high hopes after reading reviews and after loving other books by this author, but I was really disappointed. It’s like she couldn’t decide where to take the story and went in a million different directions. The ending was pretty much a complete let down.

Thrilling ride but full of holes

It really was ‘unputdownable’ but mostly because with so much thrown at one person - you gotta figure out what will stick. Characters are introduced & then just disappear with zero resolution. There are twists and turns galore- some you can see from early on- some sneak up on you so I’m still giving it a good rating but the ending is the equivalent of… “and then I woke up”

Good, but not the best

Good thriller with some good but predictable twists.
This isn’t one that has plot lines “you didn’t see coming” but it does tug at the heart strings as you feel for each of the characters.

Not her best but still good

Brat teenager portrayal is distracting..not my favorite work of hers, but still one of my favorite authors overall!

Not Mary’s best

Big fan of Mary Kubica, I like the ridiculousness of it all. But this one was not it.
