stilted delivery of a mid-grade plot.

Overall, an entertaining book, but the narrator was very stilted in his delivery. The narrator, who is the author, at times seemed like he was unfamiliar with the book. His cadence was uneven at best, and there was very little difference in his voices for different characters.

Great concept!

Loved this one! Couldn’t stop listening. I can’t wait to see where it goes in the next few books.
