He promises Caroline that he will protect her at all costs, even when it means protecting her from himself.

Told from the alternating perspectives of Caroline and Devilyn, Fae draws on mysteries, myths and legends to create a world, and a romance, dangerously poised between Light and Dark.

The male voice was a bit mature

The male voice was a bit mature for how young they made Carolyn sound it the book. At time the difference in the aha associated with their voices took me out of the story.

Wow

What a unique view of the fae and the history of Roanoke. This book is well written and beautifully narrated! It is fast for young adults, so I am passing it along to my teenage daughter. On to the second book!

I Really Enjoyed This Book

This book grabbed my attention from the beginning and refused to let go until the end. I cared about the characters and hoped for a happy ending. I recommend it.

Only meant for very young adults.
I wouldn't recommend for anyone older than 12 years.
