meandering, beautiful and deep.

I hate writing reviews for on-line tech companies. But I should tell anyone who will listen. This book is like that beautiful that makes you cry every time. Kt was free for some reason, and it should be.

Lyrical, engaging storytelling

Few people can so effectively straddle the line between poetry and prose and use magical realism in an ordinary setting the way Fred Chappell could. The work is effectively a collection of short stories type effortlessly together through a narrated series of conversations between family members talking about the past. If you grow up in Appalachia, this is less a work of fiction and more like getting to hear all those family stories once again that you forgot from your childhood.
