A tender Mr. Darcy...a vulnerable Elizabeth Bennet....

Elizabeth Bennet is in dire straits. Desperate for guidance, she hides her identity as a female before appealing to a knowledgeable and highly recommended gentleman from Derbyshire for advice.

Fitzwilliam Darcy is pleased to aid the young man from Hertfordshire. E.R. Bennet asked reasonable questions in a well-crafted letter. Traveling to the area to stay with a friend, Darcy is eager to make the acquaintance of the despondent landowner.

Neither Miss Elizabeth Bennet nor Mr. Darcy is what the other expected. Both are offended and angry. Can they find their way through rough challenges to achieve their happily ever after? Of course they can. This is Mr. Darcy and his Elizabeth.

Field of Dreams is a Regency variation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice that is appropriate for all listeners.

Some text is omitted at end of some chapters.

I very much enjoyed the text-to-speech option, so I was very disappointed when abrupt endings of some chapters alerted me to missing text in the Audible variation. So far, I have only noticed it in this audible story. Hopefully this can be corrected and uploaded to those who have errors in their versions.

The story was quite emotional for me! I liked it and the narrator Zimmerman! It was only the technical glitches that detract from it.

Lovely story with production quality issues

As another reader/listener noted, the audio cuts off the ending of some chapters. Stevie Zimmerman is excellent. However, quality control when compiling the audio was lacking. I hope a corrected book will be posted soon.

major plot points in book missing from audio... like the end of chapter four where significant plot point is.
