Adaze and Leilani: CEO rescued by local firefighter... talk about different worlds! How different? - Ice queen vs. super friendly, a little age-gap, a personal assistant vs. several close co-workers/friends, outgoing and outdoorsy vs. introverted workaholic.

Despite all those differences, they couldn't ignore the attraction between them. A definite heat that could burn all obstacles...maybe. It's a good read, especially with all the 🔥🔥🔥

Narration cooled the spice

First things first: I may have missed it but I didn’t see a TW from the author. If mommy kink, bondage, and rimming are something you try to avoid, this is NOT the story for you.
I enjoyed the first story in the series Lori Prince narrated but this one was a miss for me. Outside of dialogue, I enjoyed the narration. However, Leilani’s voice sounded like an occasionally hoarse Ms. Rachel, which may be up someone’s alley but it isn’t mine. Paired with the mommy kink, the child-like voice was too much for me. I had to skip some parts. Also wasn’t a fan of the unnatural cadence of the voices during the spicy scenes. Overall, a decent story for those who this specific category of spice is a yum but the voices left me cringing.

The relationship between the two

I loved how they came together and how the older of the two changed to meet the needs of the younger character. So they could be happy together

I loved everything about this book; from the opening rescue, to the growing romance, to the freaking pure, amazing, hot sex! I didn’t think I had a “Mommy Kink” but maybe I was wrong! Haaaa. Leilani and Adaze are interesting women, pretty much complete opposites and smoking hot! I listened to the Audible book but I think I need to buy the paperback as well. Lori Prince did a great job with the narration!
