Good story, but not the best in the series.

Great narration made this a good read. Story took a bit to get going but kept me interested. Not the best of the bunch, but still quite enjoyable!!

There are a lot of things that I love about this series. It’s sexy, full of hot alpha males, full of strong heroines, has lots of Taggert-type humor and the good guys usually win. What I get tired of is the repeated theme, “I must keep you at arms link, for your own good; you deserve better!” This theme has really begun to irritate the crap out of me. Ms Blake, please come up with a new way to build angst!

With that being said, I was glad to learn more about this quiet, brooding Russian. I was also glad that he finally found himself and finally really began to realize that he was a real member of the MT family!

Outstanding 2nd chance at Love!

I really loved Nick & Haley’s story. It was so charming. Very intense plot, excellent narration make this a five star listen.

FAN..FREAKIN..TASTIC STORY.. PHENOMENAL NARRATION

This is only my second dip into the action-packed Masters and Mercenaries world and I have to ask myself why.. why.. why? because this is so intense, so thrilling, so captivating, so gripping, so passionate, so emotional, and so sizzling hot too. It’s a well-written, well thought out and well executed dual POV plot with great characters, mystery and sighworthy scenes that make you hold your breath. But the ABSOLUTE STAR of this story is ⭐️ Ryan West ⭐️ who seamlessly went from male to female, American, Russian, British, Scottish and Australian accents with total professional ease making each unfolding chapter intensely riveting as character after character, changing moods, quirks and feels, highs and lows and explosive chemistry was pulled out of the riveting non-stop action, angst and drama.

Worth a credit? As I said, I’ve only dipped into this series once before, but from now on, I’m going to do what these spies do to their enemies.. and that’s eagerly pick them off one by one because I’m confident they’ll all be a fantastic listen. Yes, this audiobook would definitely be credit worthy.. however, they’re all now offered free under the Audible Escape Package.. and that, for me, is a fantastic win-win bargain.
