Love this series!!

This is a really fun and addicting series! My only frustration is that the rest of the books aren’t available on Audible and the cliffhangers are killing me!

naive but strong heroine

The narrators were awesome they gave the book the right feel and the heroine is a good a mix of naive but strong will let her mates protect her as long as she can protect them too. Cliffhanger came out of nowhere but overall a good book

Effie Shines, but the Slow Burn Feels Unrealistic!

I'm really enjoying this series! I love how Effie doesn't play games with her mates, she’s direct, honest, and says exactly how she feels, which is so refreshing. The narration is absolutely stellar and brings the story to life, adding depth and personality to each character.

That said, the one thing holding me back from giving this five stars is the lack of urgency around Effie being marked or claimed by her mates. It’s been made clear that she’s in serious danger without being marked, yet they’re still holding back. I understand she wants to take things slow due to her upbringing, but her actions often contradict that, which makes the delay feel inconsistent and unrealistic, especially when compared to other shifter stories where true mates bond quickly.

Still, I'm hooked and moving right on to the next book in the series!
