Freak and Carnie

Oh how I love me some Freak! This was a definite page turner. Winter Travers never ceases to amaze me. Reading a book by Ms. Travers is like catching up with old friends.

This story was witty, thrilling, suspenseful and absolutely charming . I love the dynamic these men and women have with one another. freak and Carnie are absolute perfection. I enjoyed every single second of this book.
Narration is perfection!

Another Great Edition!!

Loved Freak & Carney! They came together much like the other Lords. Freak was in charge of keeping her safe and in their close proximity they end up falling. They had a little hiccup early on when Freak thought he was too old for her, but he got over it.

Bobby is finally dealt with and Jenkins is back.

My only gripe about this one was the constant focus on Carney drinking prior to turning 21. I mean seriously are these guys boy scouts or outlaws? She was 2 months from 21 and everyone was like "She can't drink, she's illegal." It was ridiculous. Now they all suddenly care about laws?🤣

I love love love love love this series. I think this book is my favorite so far. I love that they have a large age gap and still made it work. The performance was great also.
