Mistakes make the greatest heroes.

Ole allowed his brother to live. Highpoint is under threat of being destroyed, and the strongest guilds have it out for the Knights of the Ashes. The human realm is no longer safe. Families need to be evacuated, and Ole's city needs to be built. Only then will they feel truly safe.

But not all is lost. Mana based technology was discovered and is currently being built. But there's a problem. They need Ole and his knowledge to finish it all. Sora and Riley are still at odds over their relationship, and Ole is finally ready to choose.

That's just one small problem to handle. A second bunker is needed. It's time to expand and bring in the angels. Traveling across the country with a fox, demon, and human all under gold rank will not be easy. And what's worse, new realms are discovered as their inhabitants set up camp. The world is changing, and the feeling that everything is hostile will push Ole and his team to new heights.

Can Ole level up his Ashen Taming and add new party members? He'll also have to travel to the angel's realm and win them over. So much to do, and yet there never seems to be enough time. Ole can only pray that his actions will help secure the human's spot on Earth. But nothing is ever easy when it comes to the Ashen...

Lost me with this one

Crazy how fast a book can go from great to not good, the world, system and underlying story are all great but the constant girl drama and talks about building a home and settling down to have children out of no where threw me off from what brought me past the first book to this one. I also have no idea how Riley just got thrown to the curb after the premise of the first book was him escaping the ashen realm to get back to Riley. It just changed into something that isn’t for me after the second book, probably a-little before the end of the second book if I’m being honest. Thanks to the author regardless, I enjoyed the first two books.

Not my style... This should be fantasy and not....

This is marketed as fantasy. Meanwhile 50% is about hirny angel wanting tu fuck Mc. And Mc slice of life deciding which one to sleep with. Soo annoying...
