Book three in the #1 New York Times bestselling Into Darkness Series, following the dark rom-com sensations Lights Out and Caught Up. The game is on for these enemies-to-lovers with laugh-out-loud banter and scorching-hot brat play.

I hate that woman.

Tyler Neumann has spent years looking for his father, and not because he wants to meet the man. No, he wants to destroy him. And he’ll manipulate whoever he can to exact his revenge.

Including Stella McCormick. She’s everything Tyler hates. Her wealth and privilege have protected her for her entire life, and Tyler thinks it's time she finally paid the price. Whether she’s ready to or not.

I hate that man.

Stella might not believe in love at first sight, but loathing at first sight—no question. From the moment she sets eyes on Tyler in her tattoo parlor, she knows he’s the devil planning to make her life hell.

Forced to play the part of his girlfriend and invite him into her family’s glittering circles, Stella quickly clocks Tyler’s ulterior motives. But love and hate are two sides of the same coin, and soon she doesn’t know which is worse: being blackmailed by a man who wants to ruin her, or that they can’t seem to keep their hands off each other.

This is an enemies-to-lovers dark romance with morally grey characters. Some themes and scenes may be disturbing to readers. Please check the content warning at the beginning of the book.

This audiobook edition contains exclusive never-before-heard content featuring bonus chapters from Lights Out, Caught Up, and Game On!

I usually suck at writing reviews and I’ll admit I don’t write as many as I probably should, but for this one I feel I have too.

I LOVED the first 2 books in this series but this one was hands down the hottest one out of the three. It was so well written and the narrators did such an incredible job bringing the story to life that I want to listen to it again…like right now. Thank you Navessa for sharing this story and your writing gifts I can’t wait to see what you write next!

Duet Narration by Tara Langella and James Cassidy

Tropes:
Enemies-to-lovers
Reverse Age Gap
Fake dating
Morally grey MMC X Black cat FMC
Power imbalance

Game On follows Tyler a man driven by revenge, and Stella, the privileged woman he pulls into his dangerous game. What starts as manipulation and blackmail turns into something far more complicated when fake dating and forced proximity blur the lines between hate and desire. I was waiting for a true enemies-to-love trope (my favorite of all time), and this was chef’s kiss. I gobbled this book up!! The banter and digs at each other had me cracking up—the plot was so good. Who would have known that Tyler was a brat??

Tara Langella and James Cassidy brought Stella and Tyler to life with so much personality and emotion.Tara captured Stella’s sharp edge and vulnerability perfectly, while James brought Tyler’s intensity, arrogance, and hidden layers to life in a way that made him impossible not to love. The chemistry in their voices? Unreal.

I can't wait to see what Navessa Allen writes next!

Blackmail, Lies, and a Dangerous Attraction

I absolutely adored this book. There was so much depth to it character wise, and it was SOOO funny, but it definitely is for a particular audience. Though I am kinda pissed that Navessa actually managed to get me to like Tyler, and honestly it didn’t even take that long for me to cave 😭. HE’S BLONDE NAVESSA 👏🏻You freaking chaos goblin, HOW COULD YOU 😂

And our narrators for this book? PHENOMENAL. I honestly couldn’t imagine it being anyone else at this point. HOW DARE YOU pick someone who sounds like THAT for Tyler, Navessa 😭. I’m a sucker for James Cassidy and Tara Langella as it is. It was never a fair fight.

I think my favorite part of this book, is that it’s definitely for the girlies who have dealt with men who just didn’t know when to shut tf up and quit pushing your buttons, and needed put in their place. I was cackling while Tyler discovered he really was a brat (cause duh).

Book 1 of this series was completely different than book 2. And thus this book is completely different than the other two and I actually really love that. I feel like the people who are reviewing it and didn’t like it, were expecting it to be like Lights Out and were assuming Caught Up was just a fluke. And I get for some people who have never ventured anywhere near the BD$M scene might’ve been a little shocked…. But did you actually read the description? I thought it was great. As a light introduction for most people into that side of the world, I thought it was done pretty well and the story stayed pretty entertaining and engaging the entire time.

“Sir you are a blonde man, calm down”
