Samuel West’s world turns upside down when his estranged father leaves him a mysterious farm in a secluded village. Thrust into a realm where creatures called GigaBeasts live, he finally finds the opportunity he's been looking for.

Before long, he's delving into monster-filled dungeons, unlocking new skills, and transforming his humble farm into something extraordinary. But the rules of this strange new world are confusing, and failure could cost him everything. Luckily, he isn’t alone.

The alluring goth sees Sam as her unlikely hero. Her cool elegance barely masks the fire she feels inside. The cute, scatterbrained genius has an unusual hobby, but she's so intrigued by Sam that she can't seem to think about anything else. And of course, there's his best bud, the sharkpuppy Chomp!

But Sam isn’t the only one with an eye on the farm. His half-brother believes he’s the rightful heir and will stop at nothing to claim it.

So much for living a peaceful life in the countryside…

Lots of fun!

Decent male voices, great female voices, and an outstanding story in general! I had a good time listening!

Chef’s kiss perfection!

Here’s my thoughts. Starting with John—IDK if I’m just gay and don’t know it or if it’s because he’s so genuine, but hearing his voice felt like reconnecting with an old friend or lover. hehe He’s absolutely magnetic. With John and Aurora, there’s an immediate sense of depth and polish. Love the theme. It’s captivating, like I was already invested without knowing the story yet, which is such a cool vibe for a new book. The transition from old world to new is seamless, not so alien you need everything explained.

It never ceases to amaze me how I can sense an author's experience through their character depth and narrative flow. I was instantly drawn to the cast, each one easy to connect with. But Maeve hit me out of left field. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the puppets idea. I really felt Aurora shining here with the puppets, she pulled out some new voices I haven't heard yet. I secretly wish I could use puppets to sort my own tangled emotions. The overall mood is warm, nostalgic, like revisiting a childhood tale. But then the Devil starts talking, and suddenly it's like what?? I get spicy too!!! Omg, the only thing I didn't have back in those days! Such a thrilling twist, and hats off for delivering it so early.

Plus (I assume) that's Edgar’s spicy descriptive scenes? Purely delicious either way. There’s a playfulness and a familiarity in the writing style I really enjoy, with witty banter and nods to real-life things. The hint of jealousy between the girls feels authentic. If I had to sum it up, Giga Beasts so far is like a steamy, heart-pounding reunion with your emo and nerdy high school crushes, their wild rescue beasts ready to love or attack you, as you strut with today’s grit to crush the high school bully. Chef’s kiss perfection.

Great audio for a great book

This was a fantastic listen for a book I already read. the difference between a character's accent being mentioned, and hearing that accent in all their dialogue is fantastic, and cheers to whoever voiced Chomp's noises, he is best boy.

This book is amazing

Please write more of this book. Like a 20 book series and others like it. The MC was likable the girls were fun and I love when there is at least one that bat crap crazy. Made me wish I had a shark puppy of my own. The voice work was great. This will be one of the books I listen to when I just want things to go right. A book that makes you fall asleep happy.
