Hales's & Jax's Tangled Beginnings

They say to never meet your idol in person, and as far as first impressions go, that saying holds true. This rockstar romance was surprisingly entertaining. It was fun to see their relationship progress to something more heartwarming, though secrets begin to unravel towards the end, where things are left on shaky ground.

I don't think 4 hours is enough to warrant itself as one book. The whole story could have been one standalone to be honest. The narrators were fine, but it would have been better if Savannah voiced all the female parts and Joe voiced the males. I was given all three books for free and all of my opinions are my own.

Slow Burns that Burns So Good!

Definitely a slow burn, but honestly the character development and emotional connection of the two leads took center stage and I’m here for it !

Angsty and oh, so good.

This is the first of a trilogy, so don't expect your whole story to be wrapped up at the end of this book. This was angsty and oh, so good. The heroine is quirky and has a "touch me not" and the romance is forbidden and slow burn. I can't wait to check out the rest of this series.

meh, sloppy performance

If you're going to be referencing real baseball players and companies, maybe tell the narrators how to pronounce them. It's ALTUVE, pronounced like AL-TOO-VAY, and PARTREON like PAY-TREE-ON. It's not that hard. Especially for a mediocre story line 🙄

Best read ever

I love this audio version. I have read the ebook but this makes the story so much better. Jax and Haley's voice bring this story to life. I get goosebumps just from hearing Jax (Joe) tell his story. Great read.
