Very silly, but entertaining

Some of the absurd situations (Kit climbing a tree) and characters (Laura’s batty uncle Maximillian) gave me some much appreciated laughs. Might appeal more to listeners who already like British humor and also want some gay and lesbian characters in their story.

The truth will come out

I had such a good time listening to this audiobook. The characters are so quirky and entertaining. I wish there were more books to the series. Laura and Kit are so adorable together. Kit always manages to get mixed up in helping at least one person on Greengage solve a problem. Laura finally has had enough of her own family and gently goes about fixing things. I loved all the footnotes added in. The narrator was again just perfect.

Great Series

Kit Sorel, librarian and detective, is blissfully happy with her girlfriend, Laura Howard, until Laura’s uncle shows up heartbroken after losing his latest love. Miserable because they are keeping the relationship a secret while he’s around. At the same time she’s trying to solve a mystery. This is a laugh out loud rom-com with wonderful footnotes and quirky islanders. Great narration.

MORE GREENGAGE PLEASE!!!!!!

Absolutely love this series and would love more stories. Laura and Kit are spectacular together and the funny residents of Greengage are highly entertaining. Wendy Wolfson's performance is perfect and Emma SternerRadley delivers a touching, hilarious series that is one of my favorites. Well Done!

Enjoyable romance series

Fun cozy mystery that's very light on the mystery. Not sure why the book has footnotes. Suppose the author felt they took the place of the series background story.
