Decades following the collapse of society, thanks to a manmade virus that created both zombies and a half-dozen new types of inhuman species, humans and inhumans live together in a decent semblance of society. Though the undead and vicious marauders roam the landscape, the average survivor can expect to have a decent life within a settlement.

But that all changed. The virus has mutated. Now, the inhumans are just as susceptible to the virus as the humans, and they're turning into lethal monsters straight out of a living nightmare. Thousands are dying as the evolving undead rip the world apart a second time.

David is a born survivor, but when he finds himself stranded in the wilderness as winter sets, he's not sure he'll be able to make it. Finding a few other survivors, who happen to be women looking, he's going to have to find some way to make it all work....

Amazing book

This book was so well written. Misty Vixen is an amazing writer. There’s so much greatness in this series. I hope the audible versions come fast.
Ellory Lane downs an amazing job with all the different voices. Buy this book you will not regret it.
Oh and there’s lots of good sexy time. 😘

Its okay

Not awful, not great. Middle of the road, decent listen. The narrator has an incredibly annoying habit of ending literally every other sentence as if it were a question, with an rising inflection at the end. Really grates on the nerves.
Pretty plain but the characters start becoming more interesting towards the end.

good book

I am excited to see where the story will go next hopefully we will learn more about the world

I was surprised

I’m not much for spicy books. But wanted to try it I was very surprised at how much the story of this drew me in. I was actually invested in the characters and was actively rooting for them to succeed. However a more defined bad guy besides the random zombie or raider would be a welcome addition. The dialog during the spicy is overall pretty good however sometimes the hustler style dialog pokes in and spoils the mood.

Side note:David has the libido of a god.

Just A Bit To Much

I enjoy reading and listening to adult fiction and I enjoy reading Misty Vixen’s stuff. Her works are usually the definition of “light reading”. Haven is a pretty good example of her work however I think she went a bit overboard on this book. The adult stuff seems to swamp everything else leaving little room for storytelling.
Fans of this type of writing should find quite a bit to like in this book.
