I know about this book because of Peaches

I’m glad I listen to this book. The story is far more satisfying than I expected and not only for the spicy parts. The voices of Amy and Peaches are just simply amazing.

Silas' voice is perfection! (The story is also excellent.)

This was advertised as a rom-com, and I was a bit dubious. Then the first joke made me laugh out loud, and at the mention of John Dee? SOLD. It's sweet and it's spicy with a few sad moments, but there’s some EXCELLENT vengeance. Plus, a fantastic heroine that you do *not* want to mess with. Loved it! I’ll definitely be listening to it again and again.

loved everything about this! super spicy and short Halloween read. love the narrators too!

Narration was great! I particularly liked the British “avenger” Silas’ voice and acting.

It has just enough smut content. The two main characters were likeable despite their blood thirst.

The narration

This was such an interesting listen. It’s definitely a mix of romance and wtf? The relationship between Silas and Mercy is very sweet. The New England town in this story almost has a Sleepy Hollow vibe to it. This is the first title from T.C Kraven I have listened to, and I will definitely be checking out the others. The creatures in this book, kind of remind me of something you’d see in Molly Harper’s works just on steroids.
