Loved it!

The audio of Heartless was perfection! Such a good, fun, low angst story. Stephen Dexter and Vanessa Edwin were perfectly cast in this grumpy/sunshine romance!

Audio and storyline are absolute perfection! This audio will be on repeat! 😍

Hands down a new top audio ever for me! Stephen Dexter and Vanessa Edwin had me hooked on every word they spoke! Their tones, inflections, and added emotions or laughs while narrating all made this audio simply flawless! It was a match made in heaven as first you’ve got Stephen’s deep rough voice for a hot grumpy dad and then you have Vanessa’s sunshine tone and uplifting voice for Willa’s witty personality! I will be listening to this audio again and again! Can you tell how much I love it? 😂 You NEED this in your audible library!

I waited for the audio to release to read this one and it is now easily going to be a top read of 2023 for me! It’s also the BEST age gap and single dad romance I’ve ever read! I cannot express enough how much I loved the writing of this book! Elsie Silver knocked it out of the park! It’s an incredible small town cowboy romance about Cade Eaton, who has the cutest kid, and just needs a nanny for him. His brother’s wife, Summer from the book Flawless, takes it upon herself to help him by enlisting her best friend, Willa, to be his nanny. That best friend turns out to be someone who Cade had an interesting and unique encounter with.

LOVE Willa Grant!!! She is such a strong independent woman who is full of confidence, speaks her mind and is so freaking hilarious! She had me laughing so many times and is the ultimate sunshine female main character! She was so refreshing and the perfect push to Cade Eaton’s pull! Willa describes Cade best as she says he is “the town’s grumpy prince” and “Cowboy porn with a frown.” Together the two of them had the best banter and humor I’ve ever read as it was constantly entertaining throughout the book. Even the family gets in on it too! Cade and Willa are 2 characters that will be living rent free in my head forever! I also can’t forget to add that the spice level between these 2 is definitely high! Let’s just say that Cade Eaton’s bedroom talk is quite hot and spicy.

That Backwards Hat Though

This audio… is incredible! Who is this narrator and can he narrated everything I have to listen to for the rest of my life? I will even take him reading the phone book. This man’s voice is just amazing.

My reread of Heartless blew me away. It’s funny, it’s witty, it’s emotional, it’s perfect. I think I enjoyed the audio more than my initial read (and I loved that) but I could not shut up about this audio to anyone who would listen.

Cade is the grumpiest, sexiest dad and I totally get the hype.

The banter is perfection! The spice is next level 🥵🥵 the porch…. The hot tub… the BACKWARDS BALL CAP!

The ball cap. The. Backwards. Ball. Cap. What is it about a man that flips his hat around? It just does it for me.

This love story is so much more than it’s tropes. It’s also more than just Willa and Cade. The love for Luke is so beautiful to watch.

Everything Elsie writes perfection! She even brought back the ducking text messages 🤣

“Heartless” is such a great book! I loved the written version and the audio version did the whole story justice. The narration was so well done and I had a great time listening to this one!

Y’all. This book is perfection. I didn’t think it could get better that Rhett Eaton and Flawless. But then Elsie went and gave us Cade Eaton and Heartless. I binged this one of a day. It was a “I’m only getting up for snacks and the bathroom until I’m done” kind of read.

Willa was a fabulous female main character. She was spunky and confident but struggled with her own things as well. She loved Luke so well and it warmed my heart. Her meet cute with Cade was one of my absolute favorites.

Now, let’s talk Daddy Cade. Where can I get one for myself? I didn’t think it could be better than Rhett Eaton but I was 100% mistaken. Might be my top 2022 book boyfriend. He is the definition of grumpy but that’s why watching his walks crumble around Willa was pure magic. Plus, his nickname for her made me 🥰.

I’ll leave you with one quote because it honestly describes Cade! He would do anything for Willa.
