Cozy Mystery Excitement

Heart's and Hostages is Book 4 in the Sassy Supplies Cozy Mystery by Katherine H Brown. Charity is hosting a craft event to make heart pillows for cancer patients. I thought that this was nice but where did the hostages come from? Who knew that going to the hospital would be deadly. Katherine H Brown was clever in this cozy. I like how she brings characters from the previous books and sprinkles new characters into the mix. She changes the mystery of each book so that I find each book to be fresh and interesting. I sure hope that Detective Sota can save Charity and her fellow hostages because the mastermind behind everything is totally crazy!

Short story with a different take.

Enjoyable quick read. Book 4 in series. Different story line that you don’t see very often. Mystery solved quickly but good story. Really liked that it was different than the normal mystery.

Heart-stopping Cozy Mystery

I think book 4 was the most exciting book of the series yet. While delivering some heart-shaped pillows to the patients at the hospital, Charity and her friends are trapped in a hostage situation, which gets worse when they find a dead body. The characters are fun and engaging. The story had some intense moments, but there were also flashes of humor. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Louise Cooksey's narration was delightful and enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
