Black Mana

Growth of the main character is good to see. Types of challenges are very good really challenging the mind to try to guess how they will finish quest. Ending it with mentoring was a twist that seems like a great way for the character to develop and grow.

The issue is that there isn't another book yet

The story is fun and interesting. Yeah the MC is warming up some, but that will clearly lead to his wakeup moment where he learns that friendship is not magic, magic is magic.

so much happened that it felt like two books. I was on the fence with the first book, I like the second much better but this one has me looking forward to the rest of the series and wanting more

Nobody Special

I like that the main character was nobody special. He was just some guy guy. I love the evolution of this character in the series where is come from to where he is right now in this book it’s just terrific writing. Thanks for a little light in the world of darkness.

Great addition!

This audiobook was excellent from start to finish. The story itself was engaging, but the narration truly elevated the experience. The narrator used distinct voices for each character and conveyed emotion perfectly. The sound quality was crisp, and the pacing matched the tone of the story. I would highly recommend this audiobook.
