Worst narrator ever!

The story is ok, but the narrator is so bad I almost couldn’t finish. It actually sounds like a text-reading program rather than a human - weird, unnatural cadence, strange pauses, and an obvious lack of familiarity with the cultural touchstones underlying the story.
