I enjoyed the story. some was predictable but still good. The narrator was very good at distinguishing between the voices. I enjoyed the listening.

Great Story!

This was a great story that I really enjoyed listening to. At it's base it's a doctor/patient love story, but with Giselle being a princess and Leo a Navy doctor, it just adds that little bit more. They first meet when the princess and her father have to flee a neighboring country when it gets attacked and they seek shelter about the Navy vessel that Leo serves on for passage home. Instantly drawn to each other, they quickly give into their desires and carry on a secret relationship until they are discovered. Forced to separate when they reach home, neither forgets the other as life goes on. Their feelings are still there a year later when they meet again and both of them are determined to break from tradition and expectations and be together. Both sweet and hot this was a very enjoyable story.
The narrator does a fantastic job brings the story and characters to life as well as using different voices for the characters. It's set at a great pace and is full of emotion and animation also.

Leo & Giselle

The heart wants what the heart wants. When Giselle and Leo meet, they know they are only in for the short haul. Leo is a military doctor and Giselle a princess, soon to become Queen. But they didn't realize the depth of their feelings. A year after their short encounters, they have the chance to solidify their love. But will it be allowed? Leo is not royal blood! Will love prevail? This is a fun listen, with wonderful characters. Giselle is spunky, lovable and smart. Her loyalty to the throne is commendable, but I love that she thinks for herself and isn't afraid to speak up. Leo is the perfect man, if there is one. He's got the conscience that will always do what he can to help, and his love of Giselle is uncompromising. It's a beautiful story with some humor, some steam and lovable characters.

Addison Barnes adds to the story with her variety of voices and ability to let us in on the feelings of the characters. She uses her voices and inflections to give us the frustration, loneliness and love. I enjoyed her performance.

It's not easy being a princess.

This is the story of Dr. Leo and Princess Giselle. It's not easy falling for a princess. It's not easy for a princess to fall for anyone! A well written, well told (I listened to Audible version) sweet royal story. Very entertaining.
The narrator sounded like a perfect princess. But some of her male voices were somewhat "squirrely."

Amazing Forbidden Romance.

This story was amazing I absolutely loved it. Leo and Giselle make a great couple and they have amazing chemistry. Throw in a few challenges and you cant stop listen.
